WFIPP 20th Anniversary
Empowering Patients, Advancing Science
This June, the World Federation of Incontinence and Pelvic Problems (WFIPP) marks a landmark milestone — 20 years of championing patients, driving policy, and advancing science on the world stage. To mark the occasion, the Federation is convening its Global Summit on Pelvic Health in Rome. The summit will bring together patient advocates, leading clinicians, policymakers, and industry partners from across the globe — united by a shared commitment to transforming the lives of people living with incontinence and pelvic floor conditions.
Held at the Casa dell’Aviatore, the programme spans high-level keynote addresses, strategic project showcases, an international roundtable on continence health, and dedicated industry sessions — all building toward a collective vision for the decade ahead.
Voices from the European Parliament, the World Health Organization, the European Commission, and leading international urology and gynaecology societies are invited to the podium alongside WFIPP’s own global network of patient organisations. Together, they will address the persistent gaps in awareness, access, and care that continue to affect hundreds of millions of people worldwide.
The day will also serve as an opportunity to celebrate the progress made over the past two decades — and to recommit, with renewed energy, to the work still ahead.
Registration
Please register online by 30 May. Attendance is free of charge, however participation will be deemed formally confirmed only upon receipt of the official confirmation letter of registration and the associated services.
General Information
Conference Venue
The WFIPP Global Summit will take place in Rome at Casa dell’Aviatore, located in Viale dell'Università, 20, 00185 Roma RM.
The venue is centrally located and easily accessible.
Getting to the venue is quick and straightforward, with excellent public transport connections and minimal travel time required.

By Train
Casa dell’Aviatore is located approximately 600 metres away from Roma Termini Station.

On foot: Exit from the right-hand side of the station and take Via Marsala, which runs alongside the station. Continue onto Via del Castro Pretorio (approximately 50 metres from Termini station) and proceed along Viale dell’Università.

By bus: From the square in front of Termini station, take bus lines 310 or 492 with only a few stops required. The journey takes less than 10 minutes.

By taxi: The journey takes approximately 5 minutes.
By Metro
Take Metro Line B and get off at Policlinico station.
By Air

By Car
From the North: Take the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) and exit at Tiburtina, following signs towards Roma Centro. Continue along Via Tiburtina until reaching the “Sapienza” University area at Viale dell’Università 20.
From the South: Take the Grande Raccordo Anulare (GRA) and exit at Prenestina, following signs towards Roma Centro. Continue towards the city centre as far as Porta Maggiore, then proceed in the direction of Roma Termini. Continue along Via Marsala and turn into Viale dell’Università, in the “Sapienza” University area.
The area offers a wide range of nearby accommodation options.
